WA Day Camping

A really enjoyable long weekend camping @ Monkey Mia, Sharks bay. The RAC Resort is pet friendly which we love.

A good test for our Campsite Kit; we tethered both Red and Rabbit to the one grass peg which was strong and secure with their leads a perfect length to move around in camp but stopped them chasing the emus that came close.

Saturday night brought the first decent cold front with strong wind and plenty of rain. The same peg was the strongest we had and when added in helped to stop our awning blowing away. Red and Rabbit slept soundly with electric blankets in the rooftop tents!
