The Red & Rabbit Brand
Living in the Midwest of WA we are surrounded by beautiful beaches and this inspires our lifestyle. We like to take our dogs when we camp and in-between we take them to the beach most days. Our original idea began with trialling some LED dog collars & balls so that we can get the dogs out at dusk/night while keeping track of them & their ball. Initially we struggled to get anything waterproof and nothing lasted more then a day or two. The Shooting Star ball and Safety Collar Clips came up trumps and provided the ideal starting point to supply dog accessories that suit our lifestyle and could be perfect for your dogs too.
The Red
Our ‘Red’ girl is of unspecified Kelpie breeding, That is… she was picked up by rangers and adopted by us seven years ago. In the early days ‘Red’ was clearly traumatised and anxious but little by little she has found a solid footing knowing she’s loved and safe. A classic kelpie ‘Red’ loves ball games, running on the beach and swimming on hot days.
Her time is now spent with her young friend ‘Rabbit’ who is learning all a dog needs to know from the smart and streetwise ‘Red’. In her spare time ‘Red’ likes long days on the road with new places to explore.
The Rabbit
Our ‘Rabbit’ has bundles of youthful energy & cheekiness. This little whippet of good breeding is coming up to her second birthday. This sweet girl is fast as the wind and really a bit of a show off; she loves to fly up the beach hoping all eyes are on her. At home ‘Rabbit’ loves to have lots of different toys which she keeps in her basket, within her stash is a couple of items stolen from when she was a puppy. Her penchant for good quality leather is the inspiration for our homemade leather balls (coming soon). Really this little lady loves all the finer things in life but she also likes to rough it outdoors and always sleeps soundly in a rooftop tent.
